Birthday celebration

We decided to stay at Ribeira for Jaco’s birthday on the 25th of July. We held a joined “braai”at Luciano’s place on Saturday the 24th with Russian, Gregory, whom celebrated his 50th birthday the previous day. The World cup-soccer-buddies came from Jacare by boat taxi to our side of the river. We served caiperinhas on arrival and then drank a 3l SA wine, which I received on my 40th birthday party last year. Jaco & Gregory “braai-ed” beef -, pork steak and chicken tapas in between rain squalls while I served focacia and vegetable snacks. Suzy and Anna served the delicious home baked cake and cream caramel for desert.
