Galinhos village

The village exists of a couple of cobble stone streets with a school, few small shops for necessities, a couple of pousadas and beach bars and a most beautiful, clean beach protected by reefs with a light house on the far edge. The only small drawback is the lack of drinking water except bottled water on the peninsula.
It seems that besides fishing, this small tranquil village survives on day tourists. They come by boat, take donkey cart taxis to the light house, followed by a quick beer/caiperinha at the beach and leave by midday to mainland.
