Laguna Grande

We filled the diesel tank and the cost for 100 litters came to N$ 4.00(U$ 60 cents)! To celebrate we immediately motored to Laguna Grande. The new propeller was impressive: we used to have a cruising speed of 4.5 knots against little wind in relatively flat seas, now we were doing 6 knots.
Laguna Grande is a mostly deserted lagoon with some islands and many secluded anchor spots. The scenery is Technicolor Damaraland by the sea! We rowed ashore and took the dogs for a walk .We all enjoyed it very much, we taking in the scenery and some photos and the dogs hunting between the rocks and cactus.We weighed anchor and sailed for Mochima.
