It was blowing quite hard and a small chop built up in the lagoon ; this anchorage was pretty with a lone palm tree on the beach but not as comfortable as Carenero.
We will remember this anchorage for the wonderful conch chowder we had that night.
The dayglo turquoise blue water reflects on the clouds and birds to tint the undersides a distinct blue , at first glance the bird looks like a different species.
We had to move on and after two days we weighed anchor for Aves de Barlovento (windward bird island), 35 Nm to the west.
