The  76 Nm sail  from Aves Sotovento to Chichiriviche took 13 hrs with little swell and good to light later winds.
Christelle’s parents Polla and Chrija had a memorable day in 1991 on one of the islands close to Chichi . They  repeatedly told us about a small boat ride and delicious prawns grilled on a piece of  corrugated plate.
There are two nice islands close to Chichi :Cayo Sal and Cayo los Muertos.
We chose Cayo Sal for the first night anchor. This is a very popular beach for mostly Caracas residents for the weekend away. We had a nice whole fried pargo (red snapper) at one of the beach restaurants.
We took a taxi boat to town for sightseeing and shopping. It is a dusty but friendly small town.
There is a lot of beach stuff for sale, most noticeable the swimming costumes for the typical Venezuelan female.
All over Venezuela my eyes are constantly popping out at the extend of surgically enhanced ( or not) cleavage on display. My Spanish would have been much better if I was not often struck  speechless!!
We asked the taxi skipper about safety and he was surprised that we were asking, no problem at all, he says.
So we stayed another night at Cayo Sal.
The next day we upped anchor for Golfo de Cuare.

at the beach, with Songerie in back and Chichi behind.

What more can I say?
