Palanquinos

Anchor: N10 59,270 W065 20,220  4.5m deep in sand
The day Chaser left for P L C we sailed to the reef anchorage at Palanquinos, 4 miles to the east of the Cayo.
There is a relative good protection behind a small reef and good spear fishing/lobster in the area.
I got a medium barracuda and some snappers the first day and two crayfish and some grunters another day.

Christelle made a wonderful French (ala Hischam from S/V Yapa) meal of bouillabaisse and rouille of the crayfish and grunters.

We had a good time until the wind turned west and all anchorages in Tortuga became untenable and we returned to Puerto la Cruz.
