Punta Cangrejo

 Anchor: N 10 34,650  N 063 59,730  4.5m deep in sand
Halfway thru the north coast of Golfo de Cariaco is a very small bay that used to have a restaurant and posada. The building is still there but in state of neglect. Since we saw this place with Christelle’s parents on a trip with Medregal marina staff we wanted to anchor here.
The bay is very small and shoal on one side. We decided to put bow and stern anchors in case the wind changes direction. This was the first time we use this method in such a small space, so after a lot of “conversation “ between skipper and first mate and after 3 tries we got it perfect. We had a drink at the bar, but service was slow. We spent a few hours wandering around and dreaming how we will build and run it when we buy the place!
