Leaving Venezuela Slowly
PUERTO LA CRUZ
We were ready to go North, all water and diesel filled, beer crates
loaded and pasta and rice stocked.
The last thing was to say good-bye to al
the good friends we made the last year. We invited Paul, Peter & Sylvia,
Kat & Joern and Phil & Yvonne for a typical German/Namibian meal. We
got some Eisbein (pork knuckle) and I smoked it for a few hours and then quick
on the grill just before dishing up, Christelle cooked authentic Rot kohl and
Joern made Dumplings.
It was a memorable evening and I think we
will see some of these people in Namibia soon!
