We had to return home for many reasons: Most important for Christelle to visit her parents and Jaco to renew expired passport.
The flight back home was a long and very expensive one. Guatemala City- Mexico City-London-Johannesburg-Windhoek.

We arrived in a freezing cold (for us, after hot tropics)
Windhoek
in beginning August.
First on the agenda was a braai (BBQ) at Puccini Guesthouse.
One of the things we miss most when cruising is a nice big fire and off course
the Namibian meat!
In the 4 months it took to complete Christelle’s tooth
implant and Jaco’s passport renewal we managed to take two huntng trips,
various camping safaris and met up with almost all old friends.
