3 day sail with friends, December 2013

a Mahi-Mahi catch on the way to Tortuga.

 Johan (keen fisherman) and Carine came to Venezuela for 10 days. 

The first 6 days were set aside for "Songerie". Unfortunately their first few days were spend at the airport trying to retrieve their luggage 

(which had NO BILTONG inside.)

On the sail to Tortuga the crew were seasick then flu followed, murky water at anchor (not the usual gin waters after rough seas the past few weeks) and not enough time to fully appreciate the best of the Caribbean rum!

At least Johan had a 30 minute fight with a tail-walking Blue Marlin on the rod, until the hook gave in!

Heradura will always be one of our favorite beaches!
