Utila, Honduras Bay Islands, December 2016

According to the weather forecast there will be a 24h calm, perfect for heading against prevailing easterlies. We anchored one night at Tres Puntas, upped anchor before dawn, but hated the 110 NM slow, slogging by motor to Utila. Never again! (Much better to sail up to Belize, then sail down to Utila...next time!)
We love this little colourful, lively island.
After a week (and sitting out some very strong thunderstorms, up to 40 knts) the next calm came to motor sail 35 NM further east to Roatan.
