On Sunday while lazing around 3 young men came around to invite us for a moqueca on board Clean- Clean. We rowed over thinking to have just a drink to be polite, but what a delightful day it turned out! We were overwhelmed by their hospitality and stayed till sundown. They served non stop different courses of excellent food, we had steak, sausage, leg of lamb (first time in Brazil!) and a moqueca made from garoupa. They kept the best for last: captain Lauro prepared the best moqueca from badejo fish and camurao, we have ever eaten. Our glasses stayed full of ice cold beer. We enjoyed the company of all onboard and became good friends with Raphael & Sylvana, Eduardo & Deborah, Captain Lauro snr and jnr.
