Amazon Boat Trip:

Our home for the following few days.
The double story boat have the sleeping and kitchen arrangements below. The second level is the veranda where we spend most of the time.

The tour company made a bit of a slip-up with the boat size. We were supposed to have 3 rooms, instead got only 2 rooms. I do not mind sharing a room with my parent for a night or so, but a whole trip in an extremely small room with bunker bed were a bit crowded. The adventure and crew made up for the small discomfort. (One only sleeps in the room after all) We had 4 crew onboard: the skipper, a mechanic, cook and our guide. They were all excellent and most helpful.
