Replacing cockpit wood

Between the soccer games, at anchor at Ribeira, Jaco replaced the cockpit wood that was rotting with Massaranduba/ Brazilian Red Wood. We bought the wood in February in Valencia and have been sailing with it inside the cabin since then. I kept myself busy with some sewing and laundry.
