What a beautiful place! Turned out to be our favourite in the Roques. Very well protected (read: no swell and some protection from wind), a small beach close by and excellent snorkelling around the corner! A view of the open surreal blue sea to the west complete the picture… perfect.
Hicham and I went for a snorkel trip to the east side and saw big crayfish, all sorts of big and small fish and rays, eels and beautiful colourful corals.
On the way back we saw fish tailfins sticking out of the water, went closer to investigate and saw the biggest parrot fishes ever , gnawing on coral.
We stayed a few days before the itching to move on started.
We weighed anchor for Cayo de Aqua.
