Bahia Cata

N10 29,790  W67 44,140      7 m deep in sand

We motor sailed the 41 nm trip in 8 and half hours with light ESE to later very light E winds. Upon entering Bahia Cata, we saw pirogue fishermen pulling a net across part of the bay. We anchored safely away from the net but it was a little bit roly.

Later we realised we could have moved closer behind the net.

On the beach there was a 3part religious statue.

This is a beautiful quiet beach village with a huge out-of-place hotel that seemed empty to us.
