The last year both Corinna and Muddy started having problems with enlarged hearts.Corinna was getting thinner and could not see too well any more and was sometimes totally disorientated.
Muddy was struggling to breathe, especially at night. Both were losing control of their bladders.

For the last three months it became clear that we will have to make the most difficult decision soon. We love them like our children and it was a very difficult time. They have been our companions for 14 & 15 years.
At Boca Chica they became worse and there was no way out anymore.
We took a taxi in to Santo Domingo, had them put down and cremated.
The ash we will take back to Namibia.
They were well traveled dogs, have been to Durban, South Africa, traveled south Angola, coast of Brazil, French Guyana, Suriname ( where we took them on a cycling trip to the jungle) Grenada and then one year in Venezuela and short time in Dominican Republic.

They enjoyed the most
camping trips in
Namibia to
Tsaobis Leopard Park,
Damaraland and Kaokoland.
They were good crew, Muddy
a very enthusiastic fishing mate for Jaco and Corinna cozy bed warmer for
Christelle.
