The first day we caught a HUGE Wahoo, but had to release it with our fridge being already full of fish and we are still at least 2 days from civilization.
Chris Parker our SSB weatherman suggested we stop at Cayman when the wind die down and continue 2 or 3 days later to Cuba. It is free to check in at Caymans… why not?
We arrived at 3am, radioed port control and hove to in the
roly bay till sunrise. After clearing in we picked up a free mooring in front
of Georgetown.
