It was lovely to once again walk in these romantic cobblestone streets of Trinidad at sunset. After we watched the start of the Easter procession at Cathedral Santisima, we enjoyed a bottle of red wine sitting on the steps at Casa de la Musica listening to life salsa bands.

We took a short cycling day trip to La Boca and playa Ancon. The scenery was lovely with beautiful beaches and beach baracas where we stopped for cold beers.

all dressed up and no where to go.

The second day we took a little longer cycling trip to valle de los ingenious, a UNESCO cultural heritage site in the Valle de San Louis. (Valley of the sugar mills). This was Cuba’s most important sugar producing region which is now mostly in ruin. We cycled to the famous Torre de Manaca-Iznaga tower is in the Iznaca village.
