Aves de Barlovento, September 2013

Aves de Barlovento translates to “Windward Bird Island” and consist of one big island Isla Sur with 4 bays and a lot of small islands and reefs.

We anchored in bay 4, closest to the reef, while Chaser chooses bay 2.
Last time we walked this beautiful coral shores was with our 2 Jack Russels..... missed them tremendously here!
Stunning anchorage at the 3rd bay at Isla Sur, Barlovento

The next week were spend diving for conch, spear fishing and smoking/BBQ-ing fish on the very small beach with Phil & Yvonne.
