LOS PALANQUINOS
We headed straight for Palanguinos to get some fish for
Christelle’s birthday coming up.
Jaco got some good fish and we moved to Cayo Herradura for
the beach and BBQ.

Come Saturday about a hundred “great whites” (big motor
yachts) arrived from mainland, to enjoy the first weekend after Tortuga
was declared open again.

Back at Palanquinos we met Alberto and Ventura of S/V
Ventura, Spanish couple on a Panama
flag boat.
Alberto is also a keen diver and the next few days together
we took a lot of lobster and fish, and learned a lot of Spanish.
Together we sailed back to Puerto la Cruz; Songerie landed
the biggest fish, a nice Dorado.
