2 days in the Khowarib slucht

short stop at Sesfontein
Next we head to Khowarib Slucht where we meet up with Pierre en Silke. The road took us past  Sesfontein and Ongongo Spring.

Sesfontein, an old German fort more than 100 years old, was named after the 'six springs' that surface nearby
Soaking our bodies from a long desert journey in the crystal clear spring at Ongongo.

first fun then set up camp!

Khowarib waterfalls is situated in and around a narrow valley of calcrete cliffs where a natural rock pool, fed by a fresh water spring is your swimming pool.

Silke and Pierre preparing supper.

Every supper on this safari was enjoyed at a set dinner table by candel light!

The Khowarib Schlucht offers stunning scenery, fauna and an untamed track. Ploughing through the thick sand, the route will surely test any driver’s 4x4 capabilities with vigor.
