Songerie and buddy boat Chaser 2 weighed anchor at 4pm for a over night sail to Los Roques.

About two hours after our departure with enough wind to fill the sails beautifully, our fishing rod start singing... something big was on the line. We reduced sails to go slower, but still enough to have steering. After a long struggle into the dark night Jaco landed a 16kg wahoo!

Upon our arrival at Los Roques, we meet up with Russel and Natalyia of "Be as You are" and consumed a good quota of rum. Together with Chase 2 we had a splendid beach BBQ of wahoo, mahi-mahi (chaser's catch) and green stuff from BasUR's galley.
