At first day light we weighed anchor and set sail for Bonaire. The 23NM motorsail to Willemstad went easy with little swell. Canela seems to take the sailing bad the first few hours. We tacked only twice and dropped all sails as we reached small Bonaire with a huge thunderstorm approaching.

We sailed around Klein Bonaire, stopping at various mooring at good dive spots. This was the last pictures Christelle's under water camera took!
We had a great lunch of smoked Oryx, various cheeses and our favourite Namibian fatty beef biltong, washed down by a good SA wine!
We waited 8 days before a good window of 15-17Knts East winds was forecasted to make our way further East to the Aves Islands.
