Isla los Monjes, November 2015

Small islands at the entrance to lake Maracaibo Venezuela.

We left Curacao for los Monjes with wind around 15-20 knts light for this area. We have heard much about the nice diving around Monjes and was expecting to meet Anna Laura there.

Arriving there we were asked to tie up to a fishing boat to do the paperwork and lost some paint because a stupid fisherman did not know what he is doing.

Here we met two English: John and Jessie on board Sparrow, tiny sailboat. Together we went looking for fish and manage to get good groupers and a hogfish.

The next day Anna Laura arrived and we had a great getogether.
