Isla pinos, San Blas, December 2015

the village at Isla Pinos
Snapper, not too bad for the, dirty water!

Tupak meaning whale, is the Kuna name for this Island.

At this tranquil island one can experience the original Kuna culture at this traditional village away from the cruise ships and over packed charter boats.

The first day we paid our 10U$ anchor fee at the friendly village, but could not find much for fresh veggies.

wash day at the spring.
Isla Pinos with its wide spread untouched beaches was a great choice for making landfall at San Blas. The dogs went crazy to set foot on land after 14 days at sea.

We spend the next 5 days at this quiet anchorage, going on long walks in the jungle, cooling down and doing washing at the fresh water spring and exploring underwater the reefs nearby.
