This area is especially beautiful. We could stay for years, if it was not for the insects!. We were attacked by borrachudos, minute small flies that burn/bite all over and then itch like hell. There is another insect :slightly bigger, looks like a miniature tsetse fly that leaves a drop of blood at the spot where it bit you. Helped by common mosquitoes , these can drive you nuts and cause a few sleepless nights .
