Panama City, Feb 2016
Since we had the rental car, we planned to see a bit of Panama City, about an hour and half from Linton.
We invited Jacques and Anette of SV Panache to join us.
We got lost once, but still managed to find the old City, which is nothing like Carthagena (according to Panache) but still worth the stroll thru. Another site that we found somewhat interesting but overpriced was the Miraflores Locks on the Panama Canal. U$ 15 /p just to look at and take photos of a shipslock is a bit steep...
We, Coco and Canela, charmed every person or living creature passing us while we're waiting for the others looking at the Canal! |
The view across the bay to the new part of Panama City is quite impressive with the many new ultra modern skyscrapers.
On the way back we got stopped by the automatic gates of the toll road: we had no more credit on our toll decal!
Paid a small fine when giving back the car.
