Cuba, Jardines de la Reina, Cayo Cuervo April 2016
A small beach, good diving reef and shrimp boat anchorage makes Cayo Cuervo for one of our favourite anchorages on the south coast of Cuba.
Jaco still found a few good snappers although the water clarity was not as good as we remember from 3 years ago.
Here we spend a absolute marvelous week with S/V Nomad, - Roxy and Kantala. Between the 4 of us we shared buckets of shrimp taking turns swapping rum/lip-balm/t-shirts/sunblock for shrimp from the friendly Cuban fishing boats.
Every sunset we all shared a feast of seafood, Cuban rum and cigars in great company.

With thorough planning and watching the tides, Nate beached Nomad with the help of Jaco.
Just innocently checking out if all is okay, turned into a sun-downer then rolled into another big feast and party!
The next day Nate successfully repaired one of the engines and was back on anchor in a wink of an eye.
